I would personally like to invite you to become a Citizen Scientist for the SMART Study. This initiative has been funded by SHRF to not only understand active living patterns among Saskatchewan residents, but also to allow Citizen Scientists to map barriers and facilitators of active living using Smartphone camera and audio features. The study has a seasonality component and at the moment, we are recruiting Citizen Scientists for Spring. We will eventually use this data to inform policy and program interventions.
As a Citizen Scientist all you have to do is download an App and use it for 8 days. The maximum time commitment is 30 minutes overall. I have attached here 10 easy steps to do that. You could also go to http://www.smartstudysask.com to find out more and become Citizen Scientists.
Finally, if possible, please encourage your friends and family to join the study and add us on twitter: @SMARTSTUDYSK and Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SMARTSTUDYSASK/
Please feel free to email me if you have any queries.
